Foundation tudents will need to complete 8 units to satisfy the requirements of the Two-Term program, made up of four units in each term. Students must successfully complete four core units and four additional units, that may include a maximum of two undergraduate status subjects, depending on their intended degree. Please note that not all units are offered each term.

Those students undertaking the One-Year program, will need to complete 12 units over the course of the three terms. Students in this program will undertake an extra unit of Academic English and 3 other elective subjects.

Students may be able to undertake University subjects, if those subjects are considered to be a pre-requisite for their degree entrance requirements.

*Please note that all individual student class timetables will be developed on the students first day at ANU College, in consultation with the Program Head of Foundation Studies.

Assessment

All Foundation units require ongoing assessment and end-of-term (final) examinations (25 - 30% weighting). Foundation Mathematics modules (algebra, calculus and trigonometry) require an examination weighting of at least 80%. Students undertaking undergraduate subjects sit for university examinations.
