Finding a place to live is often a concern for international students. Homestay accommodation gives the student the opportunity to live with an Australian family as part of their study experience and relieves the students of the burden of arranging private rental accommodation.
All hosts associated with ANU College have been screened by the College’s Homestay provider, the Homestay Australian Homestay Network, and are required to undergo training in order to provide a high level of service and comfort to the student.
Students staying in Homestay are provided with their own furnished room and 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner), 7 days a week (breakfast may be self-service at some homes). Bed linen, towels, and use of gas, electricity and water are also included within the Homestay fee. Telephone and internet costs are additional. The minimum period for Homestay is 4 weeks.
