This course is ideal for students who wish to improve their English language skills and to become confident users of English. Each level has classes in the skills of Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. The areas of Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronounciation are also covered. Teachers use a range of materials and activities to make classes interesting and relevant.
For students at the Intermediate level and above the GE/EAP course leads to other courses with an academic focus at the College and a pathway to The Australian National University. This is achieved through classes in academic reading, academic writing, presentation skills and study skills. Familiarisation with the IELTS test is also covered.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students must:
- Be at least 17 years old before they begin their studies at ANU College, and
- Have a minimum of IELTS 4.0 (3.5 in each band) or an equivalent. Please refer to the ANU College English Language Entry Requirements for further information.
